| The term "Black" pearl
is really a misnomer. Most fall in
a tone range from light silver to
a medium or even dark, more blackish
tone. Pearl tones are often described
as "gun-metal gray" or "dove gray".
Nevertheless, these are likely to
continue being called black pearls.
The word "black" has much more resonance
and romance than gray. |
